Andre Perrotta


About Me

Andre Perrotta is an attorney with nearly a decade of experience practicing health care law, both as in-house counsel and in private practice. Andre represents all types of medical providers and suppliers, including individual physicians, physician group practices, dental practices, chiropractors, home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities, ambulatory surgical centers, pharmacies, durable medical equipment suppliers and third-party billing companies. 

Andre provides keen insight and counsel molded by years of experience in all aspects of regulatory compliance, health care fraud and abuse laws, HIPAA/HITECH and patient privacy matters and general legal needs related to the operation of the client’s health care business.

Of particular interest to our physician clients, Andre has extensive experience in drafting, negotiating and effectively structuring Physician (and other medical professional) Employment Agreements, including addressing issues related to non-compete provisions, and Professional Services Agreements, including Medical Director Agreements.

Andre regularly advises our diverse health care client base on complex health care issues including corporate compliance agreements; corporate integrity agreements; and implications of Stark, Anti-kickback, and other state and federal statutes, regulations and advisory opinions. He also has extensive experience with Medicare and Recovery Audit Contractor Appeals, OIG Advisory Opinions, Medicare appeals and credentialing, Self-disclosure and start-up/business formation issue.  Health care compliance is a difficult field of law and requires a keen understanding of the many moving parts. Andre has the understanding and skills necessary to navigate this highly regulated and complex field of law.

Andre has been recognized as a Rising Star Attorney in Healthcare Law in 2017 and 2018 by Michigan SuperLawyers magazine, and as a Top Lawyer in Healthcare Law in 2019 by dBusiness magazine.  Andre prides himself on providing unparalleled legal services to his clients, and in approaching each client and client matter with the attention to detail they each deserve in order to fully understand, and appropriately address, the client’s issues.  

Andre earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Cincinnati, and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law where he was a member of Moot Court and champion of the Gallagher Professional Responsibility Moot Court Competition. 

Andre is married with two young children. His wife, Jenna, is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist, and together they are passionate about health care and helping others.  Andre’s parents were born in Italy and he is fluent in Italian.  During his free time, Andre enjoys spending time with his family, traveling both domestically and abroad, cooking and watching his favorite sports teams.
