Education and Background

Eduardo’s academic journey began at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in May 2002. His passion for science led him to contribute to medical research at the University’s Urology Department and Molecular & Behavioral Science Institute, focusing on prostate cancer and Alzheimer’s disease, respectively. Furthering his education, he obtained a Master of Arts in Education with Secondary Certification in June 2004 from the same institution.

In 2009, Eduardo graduated with a Juris Doctor from Ave Maria Law School, Ann Arbor, MI. He was admitted to the Michigan Bar, Western District in 2011 and Eastern District in 2012. During his time in law school, Eduardo honed his legal skills as a law clerk for the Honorable Avern Cohn at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, where he authored several case analyses that were adopted into the Court’s opinions.

Professional Experience

Eduardo Reyes has spent over ten years working as a lawyer, where he specialized in many different areas of the law, from being a Director of Domestic Violence Program and Immigration, a Recovery Attorney negotiating over $3 million in settlements, to now, and for the past five years a Healthcare Licensing and Regulatory Affairs Attorney. This work has made him exceptionally good at understanding and solving complicated problems that can arise when laws or regulations are not followed. Now, as he focuses on helping healthcare professionals, Eduardo uses this experience to guide them through the legal process. For example, if a healthcare worker faces issues with their professional license, Eduardo’s background in dissecting complex cases and negotiating solutions makes him particularly effective in defending their rights and help ensure they can continue their practice.

Eduardo’s unique background in both the scientific and legal fields positions him exceptionally well to understand the complexities faced by healthcare professionals and entities. His commitment to defending those in the healthcare sector is driven by a profound understanding of the challenges and stakes involved in licensing and regulatory matters.
