Healthcare Fraud Defense & Health Care Criminal Defense
Chapman Law Group’s white collar and health care fraud defense lawyers practice nationwide and are dedicated solely to defending health care providers.
Ronald W. Chapman, II is speaking at the upcoming Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers 2019 White Collar Practice Seminar. This year’s 2-day program is focused on today’s most pressing issues facing White Collar defense attorneys.
Ron joins a panel to discuss Emerging Trends in Opioid Enforcement. Ron’s recent victory for a physician in West Virginia who was charged with unlawfully prescribing suboxone, along with his extensive knowledge of addiction medicine, gives Ron first-hand insight into this serious issue. As the opioid epidemic rages on, resulting in heightened enforcement measures and activities, white collar practitioners increasingly find themselves representing medical professionals, providers, hospitals and other medical institutions during often protracted criminal investigations and enforcement. The panel will discuss emerging trends in opioid enforcement, the recent expansion of opioid enforcement at the federal and state levels and discuss strategies to protect clients in the face of these developments.
Ron is a shareholder and chair of the White Collar Defense & Government Investigation practice group at Chapman Law Group. The firm is dedicated to protecting and defending health care professionals at all stages of their career. For 35 years, CLG has been representing clients with matters involving health law, medical malpractice defense, professional licensing, criminal defense, correctional law, civil rights defense and business matters.
