Laith Quasem defends and advises healthcare providers and organizations nationwide through Chapman Law Group’s Healthcare Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, and White-Collar Defense practices. His work spans complex regulatory and administrative matters. This includes professional licensing, Medicare and Medicaid enrollment and revocation actions, UPIC and audit responses, OIG exclusion and reinstatement, DEA investigations and administrative actions, and strategic compliance counseling for providers and healthcare organizations.
Laith brings the same precision, research-driven analysis, and regulatory expertise to Chapman Law Group’s White Collar Defense practice, where he defends clients in healthcare fraud cases.
In addition to representing clients in high-stakes matters, Laith helps healthcare professionals proactively reduce risk and stay compliant in a rapidly evolving enforcement landscape. Based in Seattle, Washington, he serves clients across the country.
Laith’s passion for the healthcare industry stems from his family of medical professionals and his firsthand understanding of the legal challenges providers face. Growing up surrounded by doctors, he developed a deep respect and empathy for those navigating the constantly evolving web of healthcare regulations and the critical role legal counsel plays in supporting them. Known for his thoughtful, problem-solving approach, Laith strives to make complex legal issues clear and manageable while delivering practical, tailored solutions that help healthcare providers thrive nationwide.
During law school, Laith gained diverse legal experience as an intern at a major children’s research hospital and a Medicare Administrative Contractor. He also worked as a legal researcher at the Michigan State University College of Law Library and with the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. Laith earned jurisprudence achievement awards in Health Law and Policy, Global Perspectives on Indigenous Peoples, Housing Law and the Public Interest, and New Technologies and the Law.
Outside of his legal practice, Laith enjoys spending time with family and friends, delving into anthropological research and reading, traveling to new destinations, and taking on challenging hikes. He also has a passion for culinary arts, often experimenting with new recipes and exploring diverse cuisines.
