About Me

With a strong background in federal criminal defense and versatile expertise in the trial court arena, Meggan Sullivan brings a legal savvy and appellate know-how to Chapman Law Group. Her courtroom strategies are among the many reasons our law firm is a reputable, formidable force for medical professionals who face healthcare-based criminal charges.

As a part of our White Collar Defense & Government Investigations practice, Meggan handles criminal law litigation that involve the FBI, DEA, DOJ, Medicare Fraud Strike Force, U.S. Attorney’s Office, and other federal bureaus. She is based in our Nashville, Tennessee, satellite branch.

Meggan possesses a solid, successful track record in criminal law litigation, much of which stems from her experience as a legal advisor for several federal law enforcement agencies. Working for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for more than five years, Meggan led the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. It was there where she delivered professional, comprehensive legal training and advice to over 85 federal law enforcement agencies — including the Secret Service, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, the Diplomatic Security Service, and the Internal Revenue Service.

Her skills in the criminal court sector have been honed as a private practitioner as well as a public defender for the Virginia Indigent Defense Commission. Meggan’s practice books includes hundreds of felony, misdemeanor, and jury trials that resulted in a high number of acquittals. She also is a subject matter expert in the retrieval and preservation of electronic law and evidence.
