Professional:
Registered Nurse
Primary issue:
Client RN was accused of impairment while at work. RN asserted that a colleague was bad-mouthing the RN all over the hospital, claiming that client RN was diverting medications and was impaired. The colleague reported the RN to IPN and the Florida Department of Health (DOH).
Argument:
Our healthcare licensing attorneys presented evidence that the colleague had a criminal history and an extensive history with IPN himself, and he had recently gotten his California license revoked because of drug diversion and impairment issues. We argued that the allegations against client RN were false and proved that the complainant was likely lying.
Result:
The case was dismissed without finding.
Areas of Law:

Professional Licensing Defense
