Jonathan Meltz Joins Chapman Law Group

Adding Strong Criminal Defense Capabilities

Chapman Law Group is pleased to announce the addition of Miami criminal defense attorney Jonathan Meltz as a Senior Attorney to its Miami, Florida office. Meltz brings 23 years of experience representing clients in Florida state and federal courts. “We are excited to expand our health care criminal defense and white-collar crime practice and know that Jonathan will help us further establish our presence in South Florida”, says Ronald W. Chapman Sr., Founder of Chapman Law Group.

As recognition of his qualifications, professionalism, skill and reputation in the Miami legal community, Jonathan has been nominated five times by the Eleventh Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission to be considered and interviewed by the Governor’s Office for appointment as a County Court Judge.

Since 1996, he has obtained dismissals, not guilty verdicts, and other favorable results for many doctors, nurses and health care professionals charged with felony crimes and facing professional license suspensions. He also has extensive experience representing thousands of clients in drug and fraud cases. He has participated in over 60 jury trials and obtained dozens of not guilty verdicts including three murder cases. He was recently re-elected as Councilman of Miami Shores Village where he guides the city on major projects and infrastructure improvements.
