The conference hosted by Corizon Health is from May 16-17 on Thursday and Friday. Corizon Health’s risk management and correctional healthcare expertise will be on display in 2019 as healthcare professionals from across the state offer many important educational sessions and lectures designed to help increase the overall quality and effectiveness of healthcare compliance.
Previously, he presented “Working with a Hostile-Manipulative Patient” at the Corizon Health Annual Statewide Conference. Managing risk in a correctional facility can be very challenging for healthcare providers. Mr. Chapman led a discussion with professionals from Corizon Health and the Michigan Department of Corrections reviewing best practices for dealing with difficult patients and reducing liability.
