Ronald W. Chapman Sr., founding shareholder, president and CEO at the health care defense law firm of Chapman Law Group, has been selected by his legal peers as among the top attorneys in Florida, on the recently released 2021 list of Florida Super Lawyers.

In the defense of nearly 1,000 medical malpractice and/or 42 U.S.C. § 1983 claims throughout his career, Ron has defended all claims successfully with No Cause of Action verdicts or dismissals, in addition to coordinating six settlements. As well, he has successfully defended hundreds of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a variety of legal and administrative settings.
Ron’s involvement in healthcare- and law-related organizations includes the Medical Legal Subcommittee for the State Bar of Michigan Health Care Law Section, the American Health Lawyers Association, and the American Association of Nurse Attorneys. He is admitted to the Michigan and Florida bars and several federal circuits, and he holds a Master’s in Health Law (LL.M.) from the prestigious Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
